OneGuard Self Storage is committed to provided clean storage units and serve our customers in the same fair and consistent manner with which we hold ourselves in the community. OneGuard charges no fees to move-in, prorates rent at move-in, and provides a 10-day grace period in which tenants can pay without incurring a late fee.
OneGuard Self Storage charges no additional fees on move-in or move-out. While other facilities may charge an admin fee or lock fee, we provide you exactly what we promise: a clean, secure storage unit for a fair price. That's it.
If you move in after the 1st of the month, you don't have to pay for the entire month's rent - your rent is prorated based on the amount of time left in the month.
While our leases are month-to-month, you must provide 10 days notice that you are vacating. If you notify us on January 10th that you are planning to move-out, for example, your earliest billable move-out date will be January 20th. If the new date overlaps with the next month, you will need to pay that next month's rent, but you will have access to that unit for the entire month if you'd like.
We provide a generous late period of 10 business days to pay your rent on time, and our late fees are minimal. Our late fees are only 10% of the month's rent assessed on the 11th, and then another 10% on the 20th.
While a late fee can be intimidating, the easiest solution is auto-pay. If you set up your payment method over the phone, we will enroll you in auto-pay to be sure that you never incur late charges. If you prefer to interact with your account online, you can enable automatic payments from your account dashboard.
If you are unable to pay your rent after a month, your unit will be auctioned to pay the balance of your rent due + late fees.
While this is an unfortunate circumstance, the fact is that it almost never happens and we do everything we can to avoid the auction process.
We currently operate 4 state-of-the-art facilities located throughout the Southeast.
